As an organized political party our members may take out papers and run as Libertarians for any partisan office in the State of Hawaii. Non-partisan races, such as Honolulu Mayor, are not affected by party status. To retain our recognized status we must run partisan candidates in each bi-annual election cycle. A political party that fails to meet the State criteria in any election cycle must re-qualify by obtaining the nominating signatures of over 700 Hawaii voters. So the flame of liberty that we hold up for this state is best maintained by community support. That hopefully includes you.
